'The Land of Walter Giffard', by Jennifer Leach, and performed by Anne Latto in Caversham Court Gardens.

An epic tale telling the turbulent story of Caversham as "embroidered recollections loosely sewn together with historical fact". www.outrideranthems.com.

Caversham Garden Party in Caversham Court with Caversham Horticultural Society Autumn Show (1pm - 4.30pm).

An Edwardian-themed event with the Brickwork Poets, Progress Theatre, Play Rangers for children, music, cream teas and Pimms. Bring a picnic. Come in period dress or wear a hat. Parking on the Promenade - a ferry will run from 12noon - 9pm.
